This photo is a unique image from the 1930 Tour and shows the solo effort for which the Tour is famous. Our research has not unearthed who the rider is – it may be eventual winner Andre Leducq – but the focus on his exploit is evident from the entourage of Tour press vehicles surrounding the competitor.
